Watchman's Log. (Watch date 9.30.07)

This week has been really amazing. We took the students on a camping trip for three days and they did know any details about it all they knew was to pack. all we ate for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was spam, caned beans, caned corn, crackers, and peanut butter. and to drink water or tang. and we cooked it over a fire. On Friday when we got back from the camping trip we had to leave for a conference called One Thing. We drove to White Bear Lake Minnesota and we stayed at the Jackson's one of Christine's friends. They live about ten minutes from the place were the conference was helled. The conference was at a church called Redeeming Love Church it was a big church and about one thousand people came for the conference. the conference it self was three days long we a lot of worship and prayer. I love it we many Christians come to gether and just worship with all their hearts. We all had a fun time and I hope we can do it again some day. well that is all that has happened for this week so I will talk to you next week.

Watchman's Log. (Watch date 9.13.07)

Well things are starting to get really crazy around here because in about two weeks the DTS school will be starting. Eric and i have been working on turning a storage area in to a place where we can invite people to come have bible studies or have intercession.

Also Holly, Christin, and I started going to the red ceder Church youth group and we are now three of the main adult leaders we where going there to just check it out and maybe start helping out next week. But God has another plan for us in this youth group. And this is not any regular youth group where some one teaches. What we do is every week we will be given some questions about a cretin topic then we will break in to two groups and the kids will ask questions about the topic for that night. This is some thing I always wanted to do but never got a chance to do it. I feel this is one of thing God wants me to do so I'm going to do it.
but i also have to help run DTS and that is another job in it self but if I seek Gods strength and trust that He will provide the founds and the strength to do what He has called me to do. If any one can help me in some way that would be great.
GOD IS GOOD, ALL THE TIME , AND ALL THE TIME, GOD IS GOOD

Watchman's Log. (Watch date 8.18.07)

Hey every one well since we my last log in it has been busy. last weekend my friends and I went to my friends Luke & Alanah's wedding it was great to see them get married because we saw them meet and go threw the whole relationship faze and the engagement faze. so it was good seeing them start there new lives together. it was a fun and fulfilled weekend.

when we got back from the wedding we had a lot of work to do to get ready for the staff conference next Tuesday. My staff fees are all most pay off but I just fund out that I owe the (DTS) $600.00 from the outreach to Thailand. I am really confused on what I should do cause I thought I pay it all off but I guess not I am asking God what I should do and if you could pray for me that would be great I need all the help I can get. Other than that things are going good around here we are finally getting the electrical upgraded and I am helping put it in.

We now have six more staff coming on that is cool I feel God is going to do something cool this year. we are also getting ready for the student that are coming in September. We are still looking for more students so if you know of any graduated Seniors how are wondering what to do ask them if they would like to do a (DTS) it is a five month school that helps you get closer with and I don't mean a little close I mean really close so close that you can axially take with him as close friends. It is an experience that you will never regret.

so if they want to go just have them go (Youth With A Mission Northwoods.org) and you can find out all the information about the school and about our campus. or you can call (715)-353-2280 and ask for Troy the (DTS) director or David the campus director. and if you want to get a holed of me call the same number and ask for me.

well that's all for now talk to you next week.

Watchman's Log. (Watch date 7.3.07)

Happy Forth of July everyone.

I'm here in Colorado visiting my Family I have been here for six days and I am enjoying it.
But even though I am on vacation does not mean that my ministry is put on pause.
God wants me to minister to the kids and teenagers here buy be a good example he wants me to show the what a true Christan is like. Because I want everyone to feel God's warm touch.
this is going to be fun and challenging time. this will also be a time for God to teach me new things and some thing I already know but need more teaching on and training.
because you never stop leaning about way of God and how you walk in his ways while doing the thing you do in your daily life. Please pray for family and me that they would feel God's touch and become on fire for God and will do every thing He wants them to do, say or go.
I will be make a new area in my blog for pictures that's all that going to in there so if you want to look at the you can it will take me a while to up load them but when it is all finished I will let you all know.

Watchman's Log. (Watch date 6.17.07)

It has been a few week since my last log in and not much has happened since then so let me tell you about the things that did happen.
about two weeks ago the (SBF) School of Biblical Foundations class and I went to one of the students homes Zack Wisman who lived in Green Bay Wisconsin. It was a fun and relaxing weekend for all of us. That Sunday we went to Zack's church Tom the leader of the group preached on how to be a world changer and some of the students gave their testimonies.
after church one of the ladies from that church invited us to her house for lunch and dinner
between lunch time and dinner time we just hung out some the students and staff went out on a pontoon boat that the lady let us use. while they were out Tom's son Roger and I we out on one of the paddle boats she had we decided to take some squirt guns and paddle out to the people in the pontoon boat and squirt them but it didn't work out as planed. paddle boats are slow and this paddle boat always turned right so it was really hard to steer. The people in the pontoon boat figured out what we were doing so they decided to play around with us. When ever we got close enough to squirt them they would speed up. after 10 tries Roger and I gave up when we got back we were tiered and I will tell you one thing if you ever need exercise just go on a paddle boat. after that we had dinner and went back to the Wisman's house. the next day we went back to the YWAM campus.
well that weekend was fun and refreshing.
also in about two weeks i will be going back home to visit my family in Colorado.
it has been about ten months since i have been back home so this will be a relaxing time to get back home and seen them all.
well that's all for now talk to you later.

Watchman's Log. (Watch date 5.26.07)

Hey every one we finally got some rain and lots of it. My lob is mostly cutting the grass it grows so fast but it is fun to do. Ither than that I have been talking with God a lot and asking him why I am here because it can be so confusing when things take so long to come or to get going. I love what I am doing here and I love all my friends here it just when it gets hard it isn't fun and I get confused on what God wants me to do. But when I start getting mad and confused Gods peace come upon me and he brings me to place in my mind where me and Him can talkand not be worried about the troubles of my life. In this place God calms my heart down so he can talk to me. when I am calm He starts to remind me of all the hard struggles I have been through in my life. He shows me that in each of the goals I went for I wanted to quit. but He also showed me that through Him I over came all of the goals I went after. I love God so much he all ways builds me up when I am down He never puts me down when I struggle to get through the hardship. He is so great and I will follow Him where ever He goes.

Thank you for listening to what was no my mind I hope you understand what I was saying.

Its were one person hides some were in the building and the rest of us wait in another room counting to 100. Then we go out to find the person if one of us finds the person we have to hide with that person until every one has find the place that person was hiding and then the game is over. This game is like hide and go seek but in stead of saying i fond him or her you hide with them. We all so played this came were there is a person who walks round trying to be scary and scar the other people who trying to get three objects that are in different places in the lodge. they have to get these objects and get back to the room they where safe in with out getting cot by the grabber.

Wisdom is Supreme

Proverbs 4
Wisdom Is Supreme

1 Listen, my sons, to a father's instruction; pay attention and gain understanding.
2 I give you sound learning, so do not forsake my teaching.
3 When I was a boy in my father's house, still tender, and an only child of my mother,
4 he taught me and said, "Lay hold of my words with all your heart; keep my commands and you will live.
5 Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or swerve from them.
6 Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you.
7 Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.
8 Esteem her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you.
9 She will set a garland of grace on your head and present you with a crown of splendor."
10 Listen, my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many.
11 I guide you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths.
12 When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble.
13 Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life.
14 Do not set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evil men.
15 Avoid it, do not travel on it; turn from it and go on your way.
16 For they cannot sleep till they do evil; they are robbed of slumber till they make someone fall.
17 They eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence.
18 The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.
19 But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble.
20 My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words.
21 Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart;
22 for they are life to those who find them and health to a man's whole body.
23 Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.
24 Put away perversity from your mouth; keep corrupt talk far from your lips.
25 Let your eyes look straight ahead, fix your gaze directly before you.
26 Make level paths for your feet and take only ways that are firm.
27 Do not swerve to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.

Proverb's 20

Proverbs 20
1 Wine is a mocker and beer a brawler; whoever is led astray by them is not wise.
2 A king's wrath is like the roar of a lion; he who angers him forfeits his life.
3 It is to a man's honor to avoid strife, but every fool is quick to quarrel.
4 A sluggard does not plow in season; so at harvest time he looks but finds nothing.
5 The purposes of a man's heart are deep waters, but a man of understanding draws them out.
6 Many a man claims to have unfailing love, but a faithful man who can find?
7 The righteous man leads a blameless life; blessed are his children after him.
8 When a king sits on his throne to judge, he winnows out all evil with his eyes.
9 Who can say, "I have kept my heart pure; I am clean and without sin"?
10 Differing weights and differing measures— the LORD detests them both.
11 Even a child is known by his actions, by whether his conduct is pure and right.
12 Ears that hear and eyes that see— the LORD has made them both.
13 Do not love sleep or you will grow poor; stay awake and you will have food to spare.
14 "It's no good, it's no good!" says the buyer; then off he goes and boasts about his purchase.
15 Gold there is, and rubies in abundance, but lips that speak knowledge are a rare jewel.
16 Take the garment of one who puts up security for a stranger; hold it in pledge if he does it for a wayward woman.
17 Food gained by fraud tastes sweet to a man, but he ends up with a mouth full of gravel.
18 Make plans by seeking advice; if you wage war, obtain guidance.
19 A gossip betrays a confidence; so avoid a man who talks too much.
20 If a man curses his father or mother, his lamp will be snuffed out in pitch darkness.
21 An inheritance quickly gained at the beginning will not be blessed at the end.
22 Do not say, "I'll pay you back for this wrong!" Wait for the LORD, and he will deliver you.
23 The LORD detests differing weights, and dishonest scales do not please him.
24 A man's steps are directed by the LORD. How then can anyone understand his own way?
25 It is a trap for a man to dedicate something rashly and only later to consider his vows.
26 A wise king winnows out the wicked; he drives the threshing wheel over them.
27 The lamp of the LORD searches the spirit of a man; it searches out his inmost being.
28 Love and faithfulness keep a king safe; through love his throne is made secure.
29 The glory of young men is their strength, gray hair the splendor of the old.
30 Blows and wounds cleanse away evil, and beatings purge the inmost being.

Watchman's Log. (Watch date 4.20.07)

Well a lot of cool things have happened since last Friday. this past week I have been working hard at clearing up all the piles of branches left of over by a work crew that cut some trees last summer. and it has been fun I love working in the out doors and I also get to drive our sky blue 1986 Dodge Overload it is a beast of a truck. On Wednesday the School Biblical Foundations (SBF) and I went to a youth group in Abbotsford WI we had an awesome time. we challenged them to a volleyball game we got our buts kicked. Then we went out side and play one of my favorite games ultimate Frisbee but in stead of one Frisbee we had to and couldn't take any steps when some one had the Frisbee while we were playing me and four other guys collided looking up while running to catch the Frisbee. In that prose’s I cut the left corner of my left eye it wasn't a bad cut just a small one after that we all went in side and some of the SBF students shared there testimonies. After the youth group we came back to the campuses.

Well that is what happened this week read again next Friday to hear more.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter every one I hope you all had a good day celebrating Jesus Christ's resurrection.I had a great time for Easter. Here at the base we have love feasts for every major holiday except Halloween. I am one of the main decorators for the love feasts. for this Easter love feast I did most of the decorating it took five days to get every thing perfect. when ever a love feast comes around I love it because God has given me a cool gift of knowing how to decorate in many ways each time I decorate more ideas come out of my brain. This Easter I thanked God for dying on the cross for me. Because if he didn't I would probably would not have this gift that God had given me. God is so great and so faithful to me and I will do any thing to do his work. Even if that means giving my whole life up to do what God has for me. Well I pray that you all are walking with God and doing what his will is for you. and I hope you all are doing well.God bless you and thank you for being in Gods family with me.Samuel John Ducat.

Watchman's Log. (Watch date 4.14.07)

The past week has been very interesting.

I have learned a lot about patience and has been showing me how to live by the six most important tools you should learn to live by Love, Faith, Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding, and Hope. God has been helping me in these areas not just by learning them and knowing them but using them every day and in everything I do.the students that are doing the school of biblical foundations (SBF) have been learning about how to write and preach a sermon. I had to do this when I did my (SBF) and it is not easy it takes a lot of bible studying expecting to come up with the right sermon to preach. Other than that it has been a fulfilling week and I am excited to see what God will do next.

God is magnificent isn't He.

Well that’s all for this week talk to you all next week.

Wisdom's Call

Proverbs 8Wisdom's Call

1Does not wisdom call, And understanding lift up her voice? 2On top of the heights beside the way, Where the paths meet, she takes her stand; 3Beside the gates, at the opening to the city, At the entrance of the doors, she cries out: 4"To you, O men, I call, And my voice is to the sons of men. 5"O naive ones, understand prudence; And, O fools, understand wisdom. 6"Listen, for I will speak noble things; And the opening of my lips will reveal right things. 7"For my mouth will utter truth; And wickedness is an abomination to my lips. 8"All the utterances of my mouth are in righteousness; There is nothing crooked or perverted in them. 9"They are all straightforward to him who understands, And right to those who find knowledge. 10"Take my instruction and not silver, And knowledge rather than choicest gold. 11"For wisdom is better than jewels; And all desirable things cannot compare with her. 12"I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, And I find knowledge and discretion. 13"The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverted mouth, I hate. 14"Counsel is mine and sound wisdom; I am understanding, power is mine. 15"By me kings reign, And rulers decree justice. 16"By me princes rule, and nobles, All who judge rightly. 17"I love those who love me; And those who diligently seek me will find me. 18"Riches and honor are with me, Enduring wealth and righteousness. 19"My fruit is better than gold, even pure gold, And my yield better than choicest silver. 20"I walk in the way of righteousness, In the midst of the paths of justice, 21To endow those who love me with wealth, That I may fill their treasuries. 22"The LORD possessed me at the beginning of His way, Before His works of old. 23"From everlasting I was established, From the beginning, from the earliest times of the earth. 24"When there were no depths I was brought forth, When there were no springs abounding with water. 25"Before the mountains were settled, Before the hills I was brought forth; 26While He had not yet made the earth and the fields, Nor the first dust of the world. 27"When He established the heavens, I was there, When He inscribed a circle on the face of the deep, 28When He made firm the skies above, When the springs of the deep became fixed, 29When He set for the sea its boundary So that the water would not transgress His command, When He marked out the foundations of the earth; 30Then I was beside Him, as a master workman; And I was daily His delight, Rejoicing always before Him, 31Rejoicing in the world, His earth, And having my delight in the sons of men. 32"Now therefore, O sons, listen to me, For blessed are they who keep my ways. 33"Heed instruction and be wise, And do not neglect it. 34"Blessed is the man who listens to me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at my doorposts. 35"For he who finds me finds life And obtains favor from the LORD. 36"But he who sins against me injures himself; All those who hate me love death."
